Cows, often regarded as gentle giants of the animal kingdom, play a crucial role in our ecosystem and human societies worldwide. However, these magnificent creatures are facing increasing threats to their survival due to various factors such as climate change, habitat loss, and human activities. The urgency to protect and conserve them has never been more critical.

Maa Savitri NGO is working tirelessly to cares for over hundreds of injured, paralyzed, accidental and ill  gaumatas. we are also rescuing cows daily and providing medical facilities. 

 
Gau Seva: Honoring and Protecting the Sacred Cow

In the rich tapestry of Indian culture, the practice of ‘Gau Seva’ holds profound significance. Translating to ‘cow service’ or ‘cow welfare,’ Gau Seva encompasses the reverence, care, and protection of cows, which are revered as sacred beings in Hinduism and hold cultural, religious, and economic importance across India.

The gaushala, has been a safe home to hundreds of cows. They have dedicated their lives to saving injured, sick, and abandoned cows who have nowhere to go. 

Maa savitri NGO gives as a powerful example of collective efforts can create positive impact. The volunteers and doctors at Maa Savitri NGO work round the clock to provide a safe home for hundreds of cows. Some of them are old, some have severe acid burns and many others are recovering from near-fatal accidents.
